The landscape of online influencers is becoming more diverse. The stereotype of the young blogging girl is no longer reality. Micro-influencers become more important, whereas business models expand further than content creation. The relation between influencer and brand shifts from transactional to relational. What are the trends and do’s and don’ts in the field of influencer marketing? Destinations, agencies and brands all have their own ways of dealing with these developments. Tessa also does the Q & A’s with the speakers.

The Dutch Association of National Tourist Offices and Representatives will provide insights in how destinations are organized in terms of strategy, target groups, pr & online marketing. ANTOR will as well point out how most tourism boards prefer to cooperate and what the do’s and don’ts are. Hoe can you make sure a cooperation is a win-win? ANTOR clarifies how destinations perceive influencers and what the ideal conditions would be for a cooperation. After the presentation a Q & A will be organised!

Marleen is an entrepreneurial influencer who did it the other way around! She started with setting up a platform, BijzonderPlekje.nl, that gives visibility to very unique accommodations. Later on, she developed a blog (contributor based) and published several books with the purpose to give extra exposure to the members of her platform. During the Symposium for brands Marleen shares her vision on how we could influence consumers in the year 2018 and what made her decide to choose this path?

Last year, he made the brave decision to start living in a campervan all over Europa and kick-off his career as a photographer. Chris is living his dream: he hosts photography workshops in Iceland on a regular basis, is a passionate Instagrammer and works with the most beautiful brands. During the Symposium for brands, Chris shares a case about the exciting project that he will start soon with a leading photography brand.

Karin shares two cases that show how the businessmodel of an influencer can be expanded during the Symposium for brands. In the Symposium for content creator she shares some lessons she learned as an entrepreneur.

Destination Zwitserland shows on a regular basis how cooperations with content creators can be. During the Symposium for brands, Yves and Andreas will give us insights about their approach in the set up of a pop-up photo gallery. In co-creation with among others Instagrammers, they realised an unique event in the train station of Utrecht. What are their learnings and which tips would they pass on to colleagues?

This content creator believes that the future of influencing business is about expanding business models in order to be able to make a living out of blogs. She strives for sustainability in her work, that leads to a win-win situation for brands as well as for herself and her contributors. During the Symposium for brands Zoë elaborates on the steps she will take in 2018 to achieve this. The why and how of the concept Moderne Hippie Markt that she organises annually, is her main topic.
